OBOHSA began in 2021 with a belief that care should be tangible: a safer place, a full day, a patient voice and room for a child to imagine what comes next.

OBOHSA Orphanage Home was founded in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, to stand with children who need care and stability. The work also reaches people in need and widows, because a child’s wellbeing is connected to the strength of the wider community.
Our name carries an intention: to create a home where people are met with warmth, where needs can be spoken about honestly and where support is treated as a shared responsibility.
